MJ| New Look

This is just an idea to collect the list of references we want to use to put together a poll for Michael Jackson’s Best Look.  AND, it may be a combination, too.  He had put the question to us earlier, and even gave someone a nod for starting some suggestions.  Ultimately, we may be able to take a poll and define what Michael Jackson looks like on the Astral Plane.  He CAN manifest a choice look, as many if not most who pass ultimately do.  Rarely, though, have they asked OUR opinion.  This could be very interesting.  Let’s just run with your feelings, comments, images etc and we’ll see where it takes us.  I would ask one thing, we should state WHY we make our choices, for Michael’s benefit.

  1. Yes! The picture of Michael at his “hottest” was the one of him filming “Liberian Girl.” He was soooooo handsome and cute! Not only that, but he was among all of his friends, playing a joke on them (his favorite thing) and smiling. You could see his happiness in his eyes, his amusement in watching everyone and the whole song and video was hilarious! Everyone needs to watch it. It is the picture that is on the booklet given out at his private funeral. Wow! He was adorable. Obviously we saw him differently than he saw himslef. However, there are so many great pictures, it will be hard to decide.

  2. Is it possible for him to look the way he would have at 51 without any alterations? I heard he broke his nose once, so I’ll give him that one. I like the ponytail from “keep it in the closet” and the pepsi commercials in France (on youtube), and I love the Smooth Criminal gangsta look….So Sexy! Actually those three piece suits (the vest, armband, and hankerchief were coordinated) he would wear with the pendants around is neck were hot too.

  3. I too like the Liberian Girl look. Its a mix of the old and the new. The vitiligo had not taken over completely. The ponytail without doubt. Also I really like the short hair style from ” you are not alone video” If we could put up picutes and vote that would be nice.

  5. I really like how he look on this photo. Maybe because he holds in his arm the woman he loved…he has a very masculine look, unlike in his latter pictures, when his loneliness and ‘lost child’ transpire trough heavy makeup.

  7. Wow! Just watched the opening of the VMAs. Can you all believe that for the THRILLER tribute, the dancers (representing the afterlife like the video) were dressed like Michael at different stages of his career? I am dumbfounded because the first thing I thought about was this page and Michael letting us help him choose his look. He put all of them out there for us to ponder! Simply Amazing!!!!! Go MJJ; You are STILL the best.

  8. My beloved offspring had a dream about Michael. I was doing something in the house when Michael asked if she wanted to practice with him on stage for a concert. She said yea and when they danced, he told her good job and then had ice cream. She said his hair looked like it did in the BAD video but she didn’t remember his clothes.

She also told me that she wishes she could give that dream to me. So sweet!

      • What really caught me off guard was her wanting to give the dream to me. She has no idea that I desparately want a visual dream of Michael, but all he gives me is information almost like telepathy because I don’t hear him either. In fact, last night while asleep, I saw words being typed on this website (don’t remember which topic), and I was reading them as they were being typed.

  9. just wanted to share insights, or more questions about the look as MJJ might have mulled it over in his mind and perfected it.

“In Moonwalk, Jackson himself cites a transgendered performance as marking one of his first realizations of the erotic relationship between audience and performer:
When we did the Apollo Theater in New York, I saw something that really blew me away because I didn’t know things like that existed. I had seen quite a few strippers, but that night this one girl with gorgeous eyelashes and long hair came out and did her routine. She put on a great performance. All of a sudden, at the end, she took off her wig, pulled a pair of big oranges out of her bra, and revealed that she was a hard-faced guy under all that makeup. That blew me away. I was only a child and couldn’t even conceive of anything like that. But I looked out at the theater audience and they were going for it, applauding wildly and cheering. I’m just a little kid, standing in the wings, watching this crazy stuff. I was blown away

    • i wrote a whole take on this and i hit a button and it swoosh is gone.

Anyway how about: your chromozone combined from mother and father give you the characteristic but you are a unique and their will never be another you.
Blood relations can give you charstiricts- coasrse hair, pug nose, almond shape eys, hammer toes, short arm, height – but not your psyche ,your spirit , your essences.
So how about the WHITE GLOVE AND FALSETTO VOICE?
MJ vocals were more Tenor – middle C to a High F? yet he would talk in this same falstetto voice like we might wear are favorite pair of shoes everyday
. The glove was magical! He wore it as on the gurney(?) after the fire accident. or should i say his turning point.
His voice as well as his look could be considered???? Do we want to hear MJJ real voice or the stage voice? for those who can hear him and see his colors.

        • It’s very hard to decide, although I really loved the Liberian Woman picture, The gold pants really were hot, but the picture of him in his uniform accepting an honor from President Reagan was ooooooo so WOW! I really like the ones where he is wearing his Knee pads too that go clear up to his hips. Big belts, ponytail, knee pads, white socks, The red or Blue shirts in his statements to the public, he always looked good. Didn’t care much for the bare chest, too skinny! I really like the white T-shirts under the fancy stuff too. They were V-necked. I can see him in my mind. Love them all! Long hair is my fav, with curls and pony-tails.

      • I heard him say in an interview that he chose white for its Pureness. He wanted to always have white on him because his Mom always said the kids were bad. That’s the reason for the White Glove and White Socks. Did you see the Google dedicated to him? I printed it out. It was G___GLE. The two “O’s” were his feet, white glitter socks, black loafers and high-water pants! It was Awesome.

      • Yes, I vote for real voice. That would have driven people even more insane. Fans on youtube are still falling off their chairs when they hear something that’s not his stage persona voice. The amount of fan fiction rated R on some of those videos is astounding. (“gold pants for ladies”).

Heck yes, the manly voice, please!!

Now of course I have to now how he sounds to the much envied clairaudient person here…Christian?

  10. Most of the time I dream of him, he does not have face at all. It left me frustrated because everyone seemed to see a face they could pinpoint to a certain era. Not me.

Than I had one dream with him actually having a face. At first I was exited to have seen a face-and now I barely even remember what his face looks like at all. He shows up in many, many dreams yet he is usually faceless to me. I guess with me he doesn’t bother with a face. Am I the only one dreaming of him without a face at all??

In a way it bugs me that I get the faceless dreams but then again, he visits often, I am not complaining. The “faceless” thing extends to the point that I am wrecking my brains on how he would appear. And I am coming up with -NOTHING. Not because of lack of “fantasy” or such. I just feel that I can’t come up with anything because nothing is there? Not in my head.

Now personally I very much loved the later styles, “captain crunch” as one reporter called. Black suits, long black hair.

Why? He looked like he had found a style for him, that worked, that was him.
Around the trial period. He looked like he had grown up and was more accepting of his own image.

This is pretty silly, looks like some kind of joke. When you wear something funny and your friends take a picture. He’s wearing a shirt with a picture of himself.
If you can laugh about yourself, more power to you.

And then I notice most of those are public appearances. I feel like perving on him, but hey, why not this? Come as you are, right?

I guess I just really prefer his later looks in life- all that glitzy sweater and short pant is okay, but I really love his look in 2005. In a time of personal anguish and turmoil his he looked most like himself- all that glitzy stuff, the gold leotard etc seems so random, to portray something. I thought in the trial era he seemed more mature, more adult, more man. Despite the occasional PJ pants with black jacket- I do that all the time, haha. You can virtually dignify any pants with a black jacket.

    • The first dream I’ve had of Michael, he looked like him in this picture:

Only he was without the hat and he had a darker complexion, which suggested that he was younger.

Next dream, he looked like how he was back in 2001:

Notice the whole facial expression, that was exactly how he looked at one point in the dream. Never mind the clothes, that wasn’t what I saw him wearing then. He had on a black suit, I think.

In a recent dream, Michael was dressed like in his Smooth Criminal video:

In that dream, he was actually performing. He was singing but I don’t remember what song it was anymore.

Michael seems to be changing his looks each time. He’s probably waiting for us to decide which one we think he should use. Personally, I loved how he looked in this photo best:

I took the video snapshot myself, using the copy I have of Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies. It was very hard to find a picture of him smiling that way. It was when Elizabeth Taylor surprised him with this huge elephant and he was grinning from ear to ear as if saying, “Who has a pet elephant? Who has a pet elephant? ME! ME!” I’ve never seen him smile like that in any of his other videos. It was the look of pure joy. :-)

    • A Faceless dream is not uncommon. The problem is that the physical experience we have had defines the person here. This IS NOT the person on the otherside, for they are MORE of what they have been over time, and currently too in the other diminsions.

NOW, add to this the actual fact that what you are experienceing of the faceless one is BEYOND the expression of a physical presentation and you have a better understanding that your dream state allows you to connect with a [GREATER] person and a DYNAMIC one. These are characteristics of the Astral Plane, the very place where your dreams are taking place. They ARE NOT actually faceless while dreaming, it is JUST that that characteristic HAS NO TRANSLATION coming from the 14-dimensions of the Astral Plane down into our 3-dimensional Physical Plane once you awaken.

As you attain those characteristics through the experience of life in the Physical then you will once again place a face on the person should you recall the dream. However, ironically, that face MAY be the same as the physical, OR NOT – it all depends on a number of lesser functions which complicate matters. Again, fears for example. Other ways we have experienced those features. Realities and things we would be forced to accept, etc. etc.

  12. Okay….I have found my favorite look. It would be The ponytail:

    with this style of clothing:

Oh how I LOVE THAT MAN!!!!

    Comment by Princess — September 20, 2009 @ 3:17 pm | Reply

    • I forgot to state why I made these choices.

      The ponytail:

I made this choice because you can see Michael’s entire face. His eyes are piercing yet innocent. When he looks into the camera or at an interviewer, it appears he is looking into the soul almost as if the physical person does not even exist. His eyes are very powerful.
I also like the duality of his face. He had very masculine jaw and cheekbones with big puppy dog eyes and the smile of a child. His face should be shone in all its beauty without even a hair covering one inch. He also had a perfectly shaped head…very symmetrical. I think all the Jacksons were blessed with that gene.

      The suits:

I like the suits because they show him as a man on a mission. Jewel tones are my favorite colors because of the power and energy they represent. I like the armband and the pendants because they symbolize military force. Michael alone was a force to be reckoned with. He has been at war against forces of darkness his entire physical existence and he won. He is physically gone, but the good that he has done cannot be erased. And his power and spirit has grown at an exponential rate since his demise.

When putting the hair and the suits together, it is a don’t f*** with me look (sorry) as though he is saying, “Yeah, I’m pretty, but don’t let this makeup fool you; I’m Bad,Dangerous,Invincible and Off the Wall!” He appears compassionate and gentle yet very powerful and unwavering in his purpose! It is a hypnotic seduction. The look represents exactly how I feel about him. If I could give Michael a nickname, it would be Quiet Storm because a quiet storm seems harmless, but has the power bring complete change to an environment.

    • I love the one with the white shirt and the Piano for the Pepsi commercial. Remember, that’s the one that set off the crying jag for me. It seems like a foreboding sadness of the loss of his boyhood, and then a celebration. I think this ad could be made in Heaven. It has that feeling about it that you “come into this world alone, and you leave alone.” It feels like he’s viewing his past life and realizing that he’s come a long way and has much to be proud of. It’s like coming to terms in the quiet, seeing something for the first time that you haven’t taken the time to contemplate before. It feels to me like when he sees the child in the ad it just occurs to him that he’s come face to face with himself. Maybe regrets for the lost childhood and a feeling that he didn’t have the capacity to enjoy it while he lived it. A feeling of mixed emotions.

  13. I’m so loving him here:

I wish he would stay like this, forever…with no vitiligo, no fire-burns, no more plastic surgery.
Maybe a little longer, till his shoulders, hair.
He is so heavenly cute…and that mix of sexy and innocence is really deadly.

    • Angeli-ka, Looking at this video, it appears that the Viteligo is starting to show up on tip of his nose. In the final pictures, the color is blended, but in the actual filming his nose is white on the tip. Still, cute as a button though, he was like a fine wine, he evolved and was mmmmmmmmmm with age.

      And…… hair! No ponytail!

      Comment by nikki — September 24, 2009 @ 8:29 pm | Reply

      • Sorry to upset you Nikki, but I was referring to the face only. Michael would still be himself in all other aspects. I just believe that without surgeries or vitiligo, Michael would have looked more like Jackie than any of his other siblings.

Dr. von Lahr did say though that Michael can look however each one of us wants him to look. He can manifest whichever look you prefer.

I just didn’t want to feed whatever insecurity he had that caused him to have so many surgeries, so I want to let Michael know that I love him for who he is at the core. That includes his DNA and phenotype. All the style and talent is STILL Michael. The only thing that he was not born with are the results of his surgeries.

Sorry again, but I hope you understand.

Has it dawned on all of us yet that Michael Jackson has the [natural] Astral Plane ability to present himself exactly as you prefer to YOU, while appearing differently to another — this is something we cannot do here in the physical. I say natural because other people who have passed (actually ALMOST EVERY ONE) can do this, and does.

  16. Actually the way of trying to piece together a look can be disturbing to me as I ponder over all the years in photos of MJ. And how he changed his physical appearance so much. I remember loving the way he looked in the late 80’s and he always seemed like a gentle kind soul and his style of singing seemed more joyous as well. Then comes the Dangerous tour….I remember watching it on HBO the minute he came out he took like 3 minutes of a trancelike state and then removed his glasses…I almost fell off the couch. I was like who is that? The makeup the pailer skin and the rougher edge It was like he transformed into something else. His voice was still pure though. The dance usually took my attention off the physical nature of MJ. He memorized me and still does. Another look I love is the Ebony 2007 photo shoot..Seems like he was trying to regain the look he liked best. For 47 he looked like 37 in those photos. When I think about the life of MJ in photos it tells me something about him in the state of wondering was he ever happy with the way he looked. Why didn’t he see what we saw. I always thought he was gorgeous no matter what we saw outside. Oh forgot to mention the hottest look was in Blood on the Dancefloor…maybe it was the color of the red suit with his incredible black hair and the jewlery was a major plus. I remember when I saw that video for the first time..It seemed that married life and fatherhood made him more sexy….ummmm just my thoughts anyway.

    • As I look at his pictures, I realize that I was Madly in Love with him in my 20s, he was in his 20s too, then we began getting a little more grown up, in my 30s he was still hot, but as I look back, I realize I didn’t notice aging in him or change because we were growing up together. I never compared older pictures, only saw him as he was at the time. Now thinking about him, I am glad he aged gracefully, I think he became more mature and handsome with time. It’s too bad I stayed in my 30s! I love all his pictures, but I don’t care for the big eyebrows or the lipstick. He didn’t need them. I like the natural looking mj.

I must admit to everyone that I have become mesmerized on MJ from the moment he passed away. Its like he is constantly on my mind for one reason or another, mainly the nagging questions on why this happend to such a good, giving and kind person. But back to the question at hand on the best look for him was when he married Lisa Marie. He appeared to be happy, loved and at some peace of mind. Their wedding pictures taken in Donald Trumps apartment were spectacular, he was perfect. But you know what Michaels eyes and that cute smile in a white suit whould melt anyone and when he wore all black Wow look out world!!

    • Denise, Now I’m torn! I really like these pictures too. Can we choose more than one look? This is again, white shirt and white T-shirt. I don’t know why I love that look so much, but mark me down for this look. And, thanks for providing the pictures, it’s so nice seeing them.

      • Hello again,

I forgot to say why I liked the Vanity Fair pictures best!

1.) I have always admired Annie Leibovitz’s photographs and think she has captured the true spirit of MJ.

2.) I like the simple jeans and white shirt…looks very sexy!

3.) MJ looks like a handsome black American…and I know he was always proud of his heritage.

        • I want candy!

I love the hair, heck, I even like the lipstick. Just have to overcome the jealousy that he has better hair and make-up than myself, haha.
