  1. When people are trying their darn best to lose weight, some of them sometimes reach a plateau. They do not seem to be losing any weight at all no matter what they do. It’s a temporary stage (it should be) which means you have to change your weight loss regimen to speed up the metabolism.

In trying to open ourselves to be more psychically(?) skilled, is it possible that we would also reach a plateau? Like for a time, we don’t feel, see, hear, smell anything? How does that happen and how do we get past it?

    • Kate, your weight analogy speaks to a limitation of the “Physical” body. Intrinsically, we have a remembered DNA. We are to a great degree controlled, and as the DNA changes over time (we actually drop aspects in it which leads to aging, hair loss, weight gain, mortality etc), we establish a dynamic default definition of ourselves. We tend to resort to that definition. This, by the way, is how fairies, gnomes, angels can change their size, yet return to a normal state.

Psychically, however, refers to our spiritual constitution. THIS is a result of our voluntery experience of existence. Therfore, it is FREE WILL driven. The Plateau you refer to is an IMPOSITION made by the Sub-Conscious mind. Usually, we are simply conditioned by it to achieve only what we have experience from others around us. However, we can also limit our ability by “fears,” most of which we are not even aware of. ALL can be overcome by a combination of two things, “knowledge” and “acceptance.”

I think I’ve known this already but I just refused to acknowledge it. Yes, fear is what’s stopping me. There were times when I believe I was having a psychical experience and I knew I was blocking it because yes, I was afraid, and yes, I didn’t want to accept it.

As you said, I will allow, allow, allow.

  2. How can I identify psychical moments? There are many times what I consider a “thought” crosses my mind. Then when it actually comes to fruition, I realize that I had a psychical thought. I think a lot just for mental exercise, so I do not know how to identify when a thought is psychical until after the event comes to pass. I call myself intuitive; not psychic, but I still cannot control it.

    • The mind will outshine any psychical experience. It must be quieted, NO THINKING. Psychical experiences COME TO YOU not from you.

Yes, you are being intuitive, not psychical. Psychical is IN THE MOMENT.

Your proclivities will allow some psychical sense even though your mind is so active. For others, though, this would not be true. This SAME proclivity, however, is why too you are “a Sensitive.”

Therefore, the difference between an Intuitive and a Psychic, is strength and control of proclivites. If ANY or either exist, then quieting the mind allows them to work considerably better. Questioning the sense DEADENS the ability because the sub-conscious mind becomes trained to ignore impressions.

I don’t think you use the word “control” correctly. There IS NOT control if you are psychic. Controlling something “blocks” psychic ability because the mind is being used/active. ALLOW . ALLOW . ALLOW
